I am a 32 year old former youth worker from Peterborough. I used to fence. I was seriously ill with Inflammatory Bowel Disease in 2005 and have had multiple operations. I like playing on the XBox 360, although I am not very good. I also write poetry.

I now live in Chippenham, Wiltshire and work in the Children’s Services department of Wiltshire Council. I am a director of a Community Interest Company, Care About You CiC.

I am a committed trade unionist and Unite member. I enjoy cooking, climbing and badminton.

I am one of the founding members of A Pint of Poetry & A Dash of Drama, Peterborough’s premier spoken word event.
